How to Find Beautiful Wedding Gowns on a Low Budget

Today's brides have exhaustive selections of wedding gowns to choose from, from a western wedding dress style to maternity wedding dresses and anything in between, all at unbelievably inexpensive prices just by going online.

Below is the dress my cousin bought from LightInTheBox.com. Absolutely gorgeous, complete mail order dress for less than $150! She said is was extremely well made and fit perfectly.

So where else can you find great deals on wedding dresses?

Find local offline discounts:
Visit local retailers and see if they have a rack for their "distressed" gowns. These are gowns that were ordered and altered, then never picked up due to a wedding cancellation.

Unfortunately, or fortunately for you, you may get a super price on a brand new gown, simply because it didn't work for someone else.

Your local retailers may also participate in large bridal fairs. Their gowns are worn by models, so no alterations are done, but they are still "worn," giving you an opportunity for discounts!

Liquidations:
And here's a tip that came in from my other cousin - keep an eye out for liquidation and going-out-of-business sales at local retailers. In today's economy there may be stores that are closing and you might find some great deals on the clearance racks.
