One of the best ways to do cheap table centerpieces that will actually look like you spent a lot is to hit the flea markets, auctions and discount stores during the off season and buy in bulk.

For instance, we just hit an amazing sale that got us over 15 Mason jars for only $5.00 that could easily be decorated cheap for using as inexpensive wedding centerpieces. Square bud vases are also ideal for creating simple centerpieces. Just add some colorful stones and a few florals to the jars or vases and you're set.

Our table centerpieces were done with inexpensive bud vases bought in bulk. We tied some ribbon around the tops and added a few flowers and baby's breath and set two on each table. Simply substitute the bud vases with Mason jars and add some colored stones or sand to the bottom and you have absolutely adorable and unique table decorations for your guests' tables.

Square glass bud vases are ideal for Candles also make beautiful and decorative centerpieces and there are a lot of things you can do with candles to spice up your tables. Candles are also a pretty cheap way of creating inexpensive wedding centerpieces. Just put together three or more candles of different colors and shapes and tie them together with tulle or ribbon at the base.

If you want to add a little more sparkle, sprinkle some "Wedding ice," or shiny marble pieces or pebbles around the table where you set the candles.

Centerpieces with floating flower petals and candles are very popular as well today. Using a shallow bowl, add some colored water and float some flowers or candles on top and place in the centers of your tables. Set some extra candles around the centerpiece for some added light.

Alternately, you can float the candles in the bowl and sprinkle flower petals around the candles and around the table where you place the centerpiece.

Table centerpieces are a lot of fun to put together because the design and materials you can use are endless, limited only by your imagination.
