A CHEAP BEAUTIFUL WEDDING

Everyone looks forward to the day their daughter marries, but with two weddings a few months apart in our family, it became a very stressful time when it came to paying for them. To help reduce the cost we just let out imagination take over.
The first thing my daughter did was go to a discount bridal shop where they were having the annual $99 wedding dress sale. Yes, that is right, $99. You can find these types of stores all around the country.
You can also find bridal dresses online, auction sites, or resale shops at a bargain price. Yes, it is nice to buy a brand new dress, but if you honestly think about it, you wear it once and then it sits in your closet or attic.
With the economy the way it is today a lot of people are becoming more practical, and that includes me. If you have your heart set on a new dress, visit the discount bridal stores as their dresses are really pretty. We were also able to save a lot of money by making our own party favors.
There are wholesale stores that offer a variety of supplies at an affordable price. Another way that we saved a lot of money was by using silk flowers and supplies from our local hobby store to make my daughter's bouquet and the flowers for the wedding party. This is really easy to do and you can also find ideas on the internet. I was actually shocked at the price that people charge to make these things.
Ours turned out just as nice and saved us a pretty penny. The reception we also got at a discount price by dealing with an area hotel. The food was very good and we had our choice of various selection.
There are many ways to save on a wedding if one really wants to, and being practical in planning a wedding is a good example on how to begin married life. Our daughter had the wedding she dreamed of and it all happened at a bargain price.
Note from Karen: Thanks Deb! this shows how easily it is to have a beautiful wedding on the low budget end! Congratulations!
